A Resolution of the City of Sunrise, Florida, approving “Proposal Number: 26-0179” for the purchase of Technical Sound, Stage, and Lighting Services from Event Event Productions, Inc. d/b/a/ Complete Production Resources for the July 4, 2026 Concert at the Amerant Bank Arena; and providing an effective date. The City of Sunrise's July 4th Celebration at the Amerant Bank Arena is the largest event organized by the Leisure Services Department, with attendance expected to exceed 15,000 people. The event includes a live outdoor concert with multiple bands over a period of approximately four hours. In order to host the live outdoor concert, it is necessary to hire a company to provide the necessary equipment and perform technical sound, stage and lighting services for the duration of the event.

The 2026 July 4th Celebration includes musical performances by "Higher Ground". The expenses for affiliated technical sound, stage and lighting services for the live performances is $39,340.50. This pricing does not include the cost for the entertainers, or necessary ancillary expenses related to the entertainment or rental tents. The City has used this vendor previously and has been satisfied with the services that they provided.

Pursuant to Section 5-173(c)(6) of the Code of the City of Sunrise, Florida, the City’s formal bidding procedures are waived for contractual services for entertainment at City events.

City Commission approval is requested to procure technical sound, stage and lighting services from Event Event Productions, Inc. d/b/a Complete Production Resources.
