The City of Sunrise seeks to retain a qualified local Hearing Officer to preside over contested School Zone Speed Detection System Notice of Violations in accordance with applicable Florida law and municipal procedures. The Hearing Officer will conduct fair and impartial administrative hearings for individuals contesting violations issued through the City’s school zone speed camera enforcement program, ensuring due process and consistent application of governing statutes, ordinances, and evidentiary standards. The selected individual should possess strong knowledge of traffic enforcement procedures, administrative hearing practices, and relevant legal requirements, while maintaining professionalism, neutrality, and efficiency in the adjudication process to support public safety and the integrity of the City’s enforcement program.
