This is an application for a revision to the Amerant Bank Arena Uniform Signage Plan. Section 16-264 of the Land Development Code allows “uniform signage plans for certain developments and geographical areas in the City which, due to their nature, make it desirable to create a uniform signage plan governing special features, design characteristics, size, location and number of signs.”

The proposed revision to the Uniform Signage Plan is to allow greater design flexibility for the wall signs at the two outdoor patios as shown on pages 75 and 76. The signs included in the proposed plan require separate building permits.

Staff completed an open building permit and code violation search. There are no code violations on the property. There are multiple open building permits on the property.

Staff find this application meets all applicable Land Development Code requirements for approval of the Uniform Signage Plan. Therefore, staff recommend approval of this application.
