A Resolution of the City of Sunrise, Florida, approving two (2) “Licenses” between the City of Sunrise and The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) for FDOT Project No. 4320665, one for Parcel 907 and one for Parcel 909; and providing an effective date. The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) completed the design of a roadway improvement project along University Drive, beginning just north of West Oakland Park Boulevard and extending north into the City of Lauderhill. The scope of work for the FDOT improvement project includes, but is not limited to, the construction of new bicycle lanes and sidewalk enhancements.

In order to achieve the goals of the project, grading and harmonization efforts will extend into City of Sunrise property at two (2) different locations, as prescribed in the License Agreements and shown in the attached location map. Prior to construction commencement, a License Agreement between the City of Sunrise and FDOT is required to temporarily allow FDOT’s contractor to perform the required work at each location. There are no financial impacts to the City of Sunrise for this required work.
