Background:
At the February 10, 2026, City Commission Meeting, staff was requested to evaluate potential options to include “In God We Trust” on the wall of the Commission Chambers near the City logo. Working with the vendor, four options were prepared with the text above or below the City Logo and the text with or without backing.
Following discussion at the August 11, 2026 City Commission Meeting, staff was requested to include a fifth option with the text curved under the City logo.
Additionally, staff has prepared two new options with the text above the hallway leading to the Green Room, one with a wood backing and one with a metal backing.
