A Resolution of the City of Sunrise, Florida, approving an “Assignment and Assumption of Contractual Obligations and Consent to Assignment” between BCC Engineering, LLC, Parsons Transportation Group Inc., and the City of Sunrise for Miscellaneous Civil Engineering Services; and providing an effective date. On May 26, 2026, via Resolution No. 26-106, the City Commission awarded and approved a Continuing Services Agreement (CSA) between the City of Sunrise and BCC Engineering, LLC for miscellaneous civil engineering services.

Staff was notified that on October 18, 2024, Parsons Transportation Group Inc. merged with BCC Engineering, LLC. Due to this change in ownership, Parsons Transportation Group Inc. has requested the City consent to the assignment of the CSA from BCC Engineering, LLC to Parsons Transportation Group Inc., resulting in a change in ownership of the firm originally contracted by the City.

Staff is requesting the City Commission approve the Assignment and Assumption of Contractual Obligations and Consent to Assignment from BCC Engineering, LLC to Parsons Transportation Group, Inc., and the City of Sunrise to ensure continuity of services.
