Excerpt from the Employment Contract:
As per Article 5: Compensation in the Chief of Police Contract.
5.2 Performance Review. The City Commission may meet to review and evaluate the performance of the Employees annually by December 31st of each year or within sixty (60) days thereof, beginning after the Employee has completed one year as Chief of Police.
And
5.3 COLA: Commencing on the date this Agreement is fully executed by the parties, Employee shall receive any prospective pay plan adjustments (cost of living adjustments (COLA)) and lump sum payments that are made available to the General Executive/Management employees, provided the same are payable for services provided after the effective date of the Agreement. The first available date for a COLA and/or lump sum payment would be October 1, 2024.
