| Background:
The Sunrise Police Department has been requested one School Resource Officer (SRO) to provide services to Franklin Academy Charter School, located at 4500 NW 103rd Avenue, during the 2026/2027 school year.
For the upcoming school year, Franklin Academy has agreed to pay the City of Sunrise $11,923.54 per month for 10 months, which is the same as the current Broward School Board SRO rate. The term of this Agreement shall commence on August 10, 2026, and conclude in 2027 on the last day of regular school for Broward County Public School students. |
