Background:

In the summer of 2025, the City launched a Recycle Right Video Challenge campaign. Residents were encouraged to visually inspire others to Recycle Right in Sunrise with a fun and creative video posted on social media.

 

By getting involved in this challenge, the creators played a vital role in educating Sunrise residents on best practices for recycling and engaging others to join in the collective effort to build a cleaner, greener environment for all. Three Sunrise residents were awarded prizes for the top 3 educational videos.
