In an effort to recognize and express our appreciation to our incredible City employees, the City is, once again, providing a free turkey to all regular employees to enjoy with their families this holiday season.

Approval is requested to purchase vouchers for employees to be redeemed at Publix Supermarket, located at 9300 Commercial Blvd., Florida 33351 for a Thanksgiving turkey, each in an amount not to exceed $20.00. As in prior years, a portion of the funding for this program will be provided from vending machine concessions.

Turkey vouchers will be distributed to regular full-time and regular part-time employees by November 7, 2025. An employee appreciation letter will accompany the vouchers, which will also include an option for employees to donate their turkey as part of the City's efforts to help those less fortunate in the City of Sunrise.

It is requested that the City Commission approve the purchase of turkey vouchers for regular employees as part of our employee appreciation efforts.
